The B120C binocular compound microscope is designed for teaching demonstrations, clinical examinations and laboratory applications. It has a number of advancements in functionality compared to other microscopes in its class. The Siedentopf binocular head allows you to easily adjust the interpupillary distance between the eyepieces without the need to readjust the focus. The 3D double-layer mechanical stage provides smooth movement along the X, Y and Z axes. Erogonomically positioned translation knobs control the X and Y movement, and coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs control the vertical Z axis. LED illumination provides low-heat, daylight-balanced light which is particularly helpful when viewing live specimens. Another major advancement is the interchangeable condenser, offering the ability to use darkfield and phase-contrast techniques. With 2 sets of eyepieces, there are six unique magnification settings: 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X, 1000X and 2500X.
